Basically? I've seen it all!
I founded Perfectly Planned Events after more than a decade immersed in the world of events. Curating experiences from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, through every corner of the industry.
I built this business for couples who want a planning experience that’s fun, supportive, and refreshingly real. Your wedding should feel like an extension of who you are - not a checklist you have to survive.
I love the quiet in-between moments, the late-night decisions, and the joyful exhale when it all comes together. I’ve built timelines at midnight, replied to couples’ texts before sunrise, and guided countless couples through the process with warmth, clarity, and unwavering support.
My role will always be to make sure your vision comes to life with precision, heart, and an immense sense of calm you can feel from our very first conversation.
Before founding Perfectly Planned Events, I worked in nearly every corner of the wedding world. From catering specialist to managing venues and leading large scale event teams. That all-in perspective taught me how to see every moving part, and anticipate what you need before you even have to ask.
Whether we’re planning a chic Napa vineyard wedding, or an elegant rooftop celebration in international waters, you’ll get a planning experience that’s seamless, soulful, and authentic from beginning to end.
You'll get the planner side, of course.
But here's a glimpse into the heart behind the timelines...
After a wedding weekend, you’ll find me booked in for a massage - and maybe still carrying emergency purse candy (my sweet tooth is legendary).
Think: custom playlists, décor, the works. It’s how I bring the same joy and creativity into my personal life that I pour into my clients’ events.
She’s our unofficial mascot and has made a proud appearance at my most recent branding shoot.

Western at first, and now I’m learning English riding too! It’s my unexpected escape between event seasons.
A criminal profiler, like B.D. Wong in Law & Order: SVU. I’ve always had a thing for understanding people and what makes them tick.
It’s one of my greatest joys, and why I’m so passionate about destination weddings and honoring diverse cultural traditions.
What it's like working together
No two couples are the same, and your wedding shouldn’t be either. I take the time to understand what matters most to you. Whether it’s cultural tradition, a killer cocktail hour, or a stress-free guest experience.
From timelines and vendor wrangling to those little last-minute changes no one sees coming, I’m already on it. I keep the process organized, with clear communication so you can focus on what this is really about: the two of you.
Planning a wedding is personal, and I’m fully in your corner from day one. I’m here to take the pressure off, and cheer you on the whole way through. By the time your day arrives, we won’t feel like strangers - we’ll feel like a team.

“We were on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, and we’re so glad we chose Yvonne. She created a clear schedule that helped us pace ourselves, recommended incredible vendors, and took so much off our plate as the day got closer. She handled last-minute changes calmly and kept things running seamlessly. We could not recommend her more!”

“We were concerned about the logistics. We worked with Yvonne and every single detail was flawless. She took all of my calls and replied to my emails almost immediately. She always made me feel like I was her only client and her first concern. The week leading up to the wedding and the day of went off and not one single issue came up. If there was a problem, I never knew, and Yvonne handled it.”
