Fun & Food Fueled Wedding in San Francisco

Weddings

Leena & Newton had only two requirements for their wedding (1) they want to enjoy themselves and be fully present and (2) the food must be delicious. I can honestly say that they had exactly that for their big day and it was nothing short of laughter and full bellies.

The celebration took place at the Palette Tea House – one of my absolute favorite modern Chinese restaurants and a frequent date spot for my husband and I. The ceremony was held in their planning dining room where the white walls were adorned with paper fans and a backdrop by Bing’s Design. Guests then moved to the enclosed patio for cocktail hour, basking in Bay views that Ghirardelli Square offers.

After cocktail hour, guests moved into the main dining room where a multi-course family style dinner began – along with boba from the couple’s favorite shop, Teaspoon.

As night fell, the dance floor came alive with a saxophone player who played alongside our DJ, both from Dart Collective. They kept the energy high all night long and no empty dance floor in sight. Kat Ma Photography captured all the special moments throughout the evening.

Fact, Newton only really wanted one thing which was a cool and relaxed shoot in Chinatown and that’s exactly what Kat provided. We made sure we made time for this as it was important for Newton. They explored Chinatown, won a stuffy from a claw machine and indulged in pineapple buns and HK milk tea.

Congratulations to Leena and Newton on foodie filled wedding day!
